Design and Display

Despite being an entry level smartphone the Oukitel C12 Pro rides on trends that is way up to the top of the strata. There is the notch on the display and shiny glossy rear cover with centralised camera below which you have the fingerprint scanner. The screen at the front is large and flanked by tiny bits of bezels. Being made of polycarbonate allows the smartphone to be on a more lighter side and lacks that premium feel.

Big ups to Oukitel for the big screen on the low-end smartphone even if the resolution here is nothing to write home about. Packing a FWVGA resolution on to a 6.18-inch screen is certainly not the promise of a crisp display. Then again this is an entry level smartphone so it is expected.

Battery and Camera

There is a decent amount of battery on the smartphone even though budget smartphones are known not to have much. Oukitel promises the 3, 300mAh battery on the smartphone will deliver up to 6 hours of active use.

Don’t be fooled by the the dual camera facade on the back, you can’t really get much out thr Oukitel C12 Pro when it comes to taking pictures. That is just the way it is in entry level smartphones, however, the 8MP and 2MP camera combo at the rear is good enough for occasional shots. In the notch ,there is a 5MP camera for taking selfies.

Hardware and Software

There is nothing really interesting inside the smartphone and not like it’s supposed to be anyway. That said, there is a quad-core MediaTek MT6739 processor and a PowerVR GE8100 GPU to get you sorted out.
